    Corporate Customer Support Agent

    Oahu, HI Full-Time


    Customer Support Agents are a lot like 911 dispatchers. They're cool, calm, and collected. When things get crazy here at Waitr, they're the ones directing traffic and keeping customers/restaurants from losing their minds. The position ultimately consists of three major parts: Customer Support, Restaurant Support, and Driver Support.

    Being a CSA requires dedication, exceptional communication skills, a thick skin and a great sense of humor. We're looking for motivated CSA's with entrepreneurial mindsets to join our Waitr Corporate team. Previous employment experience in the restaurant industry or customer service is a must. Call center, retail or hospitality experience is a plus.

    Essential Functions

    • Communicating with restaurants, drivers, and customers
    • Customer service via telephone and chat support
    • Internal account management and technical support
    • Provide support for diners, restaurants, and drivers via chat support or telephone
    • Convert customers into Waitr advocates

    Required Education and Experience

    1. High School graduate or G.E.D.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    1. At least 6 months of Customer service experience
    2. Detail oriented, customer focused multi-tasker
    3. Able to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone and through live chat
    4. Good working knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
    5. Technical Support
    6. Stress management skills

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11p.m. weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
