    Driver Relations Assistant- Remote

    Lafayette, LA Full-Time

    Waitr & Bite Squad partner with local independent drivers, manged by the Delivery Logistics team. This includes various administrative tasks to confirm viability of driver partner, process bi-weekly payments and organize end of year taxes. The role of Driver Relations Assistant workd within the Driver Relations team to ensure that drivers have support for administrative questions related to contracts, background checks and insurance. this role most specifically is focused on the processes and protocol for driver incidents reported by Delivery Logistics partners. 

    Essential Functions
    Knowledge of Delivery Logistics IC Agreement, including the specific responsibilities of both Delivery
    Logistics and the IC driver.

    Help manage inbound requests from drivers, related to contracts, incidents & background checks.

    High-level understanding of Delivery Logistic’s driver incident reporting protocol, including research of
    inbound reports and managing outbound communications to drivers.

    Able to review background check results and leverage a scoring matrix to process the results.

    Full understanding of end of year taxes and management of driver experience with regard to obtaining and
    understanding these items.

    Knowledge of how to use the platforms of both Delivery Logistics and their delivery platforms.

    Preferred Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree (BBA) or equivalent from four college or technical school or four or more years
    of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    2 years of experience managing Independent Contractors.

    Comfortable working within Google Suite of products.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday
    through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
